Is that the same as British high leg ? http://www.the-outdoor.co.uk/ishop/853/shopscr88.html

That's them, the supplier just named them weird

Oh they sell Grade 2 for £10.00 :-

http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk ... scr30.html

This lot are a bunch of ruddy idiots. Can anyone find any other cheap places? Some sites are wanting £49 for BCH! I've been googling for 90 minutes and I'm fed up.

[edit] Finally.... http://www.cadetdirect.co.uk - grade 1 for £25 - I don't want to try breaking in a pair!

type 2 = 'step in' Version - in olive-green
type 3 = 'no step in' version - in Splinter

Well thats annoying, I thought they were quite good. At least thats the first problem I've heard of. I was actually planning to get another pair for turning into angle boots for my Heer impression.

Type 2 smocks can be either splinter or green from what I've seen. Type 3s only come in splinter though.

Type 2 = Step in. Green or splinter (or tan too I guess)
Type 3 = Button crotch. Splinter, T+W and the ever elusive Dot44 (so rare it shouldnt even be mentioned, not to mention theres no proof it was actually used).

Are there any photos of the SS Fallschirmjager? What did they wear, out of interest?

They wore regular Splinter B FJ smocks, probably T+W as well. Sometimes the eagle was replaced with the SS one, but not always (not even sure it was a majority).
They wore their SS uniforms underneath their smocks.

Here are some of the pictures I have:

Notice SS uniforms:

Again:

Notice Deathshead on M43:

They replied and said they didn't have any BCH in my size so instead of letting me know, they just sent me a pair of assault boots instead. I told 'em I didn't want 'em.

And the new place I ordered from now say they haven't any in my size!! :x However, they reckon they will get some in 2-4 weeks' time - I told them that as long as they were absolutely sure they would.... I have visions of waiting 4 weeks only to be told, "sorry...." So, I may have some for Eagle... :!:
